Abstrakt: Paediatric palliative care is that given to children suffering from a disease that limits or threatens their life. It therefore covers a wide range of pathologies and clinical situations, among which neurological pathology occupies an especially prevalent and complex position that requires suitably coordinated, structured and multidisciplinary care. The aim of this article is to describe the specificities presented by patients with neurological diseases out of all the children who could benefit from palliative care, as well as the characteristics of the Paediatric Palliative Care Unit of the Sant Joan de Deu University Hospital and the model of specialised care it offers.
