Abstrakt:	Endemic fungal infections can present atypically and should be considered in the differential diagnosis of any soft tissue infection not responding appropriately to antibiotic therapy. Diagnosis can be confirmed with a biopsy. Most fungal soft tissue infections require extended duration of treatment.
