Cell lines of uterine cancer and Wilmson tumors have been obtained from human tumor strains serially transplanted to nude mice. These monolayer cell lines were subject to 40 passages in the tissue culture, they possess stable growth parameters and cytological characteristics. It has been shown cytogenetically that the cell lines obtained have human karyotype. Histological description of tumors developing in nude mice upon the administration of those cell lines to them has demonstrated that they correspond to human tumor strains they were derived from. |
