Abstrakt: A highly virulent strain of Francisella noatunensis subsp. orientalis , STIR-GUS-F2f7, was isolated from moribund red Nile tilapia ( Oreochromis niloticus ) farmed in Europe. In this communication, the complete genome sequencing of this bacterium is reported.
