Abstrakt: Acetylene fermentation is a rare metabolism that was previously reported as being unique to Pelobacter acetylenicus Here, we report the genome sequence of Pelobacter sp. strain SFB93, an acetylene-fermenting bacterium isolated from sediments collected in San Francisco Bay, CA.
