Abstrakt: On the basis of multilocus phylogenetic data, Fonsecaea nubica was described in 2010 as a molecular sibling of F. monophora, an established agent of the human skin disease chomoblastomycosis in tropical zones. Genome analysis of these pathogens is mandatory to identify genes involved in the interaction with host and virulence.
