| Abstrakt: | Altogether 40 children born to mothers with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) were observed over time. There were 24 boys and 16 girls aged 6 months to 14 years. The children born to SLE mothers constituted an unusual group with predomination of males. Such children should be viewed as threatened with regard to the development of infectious and allergic diseases and as mandating the inclusion into the risk group. |
