Abstrakt: | The elderly patient undergoing dialysis is often at risk of undernutrition. The condition may already be present at the pre-dialysis stage and can worsen once dialysis starts. Aside from the impact on the patient's quality of life and general health status, undernutrition exposes them to serious risk of complications and can be life-threatening.
