Abstrakt: This case describes the incidental finding and surgical removal of an 1.8-kg liposarcoma in the anterior mediastinum. These tumors are very rare and would normally present with symptoms of intrathoracic compression; however, this patient was completely asymptomatic. The case presentation and treatment rationale are described along with a brief review of existing literature.
