Abstrakt: The teeth with extensive coronal destructions due to carious process can be saved by using split cast post and core. This technique has been used for a long time and with positive results recognized by many authors. The clinical case presented here describes indirectly the reconstitution technique with split cast post and core with latch of a maxillary molar with divergent roots and extensive coronal destruction both in area and depth.
