Abstrakt: | Oropharyngeal infections are routinely encountered within general practice and accident and emergency departments. Most settle with simple analgesia and antibiotics; occasionally such patients may develop Lemierre's syndrome (LS) a rare and potentially fatal sequela that can be easily overlooked.
