Abstrakt: The possibilities of using one of the methods of multivariate statistics, factor analysis, in the study of the frequency of consumption of food categories for the population are considered. Comparison of the results with the results of other statistical methods (cluster and variance analysis) showed the adequacy of factor analysis in the study purposes.
