| Abstrakt: |
Basing on examination of 54 peptic ulcer patients and 62 patients operated on for duodenal ulcer it was shown that collar region is functionally active. In response to physical factors it promotes better regulation of pituitary and thyroid function as shown by radioimmunoassay, thermography and other modern investigating techniques. The findings support administration of physiotherapy on collar region for correction of neurohumoral regulation, trophicity and function of the stomach in ulcer patients. |
