| Abstrakt: | There is scarce information in forensic medical practice allowing to reliably diagnose injuries inflicted by arrows from a universal crossbow. The arrows with specific constructional properties cause characteristic morphological changes in non-biological targets, such as mock clothing (coarse calico and plasticine) and homogeneous tissues of the human body. It is concluded that the data obtained in the present study can be used for objective differential diagnostics of crossbow wounds. |
