Abstrakt: A 65-year-old man presenting with apparent acute coronary syndrome was found to have an acute kidney injury. A CT scan of the abdomen revealed bilateral hydronephrosis secondary to retroperitoneal fibrosis, and an unruptured infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm Medical management with corticosteroids relieved the ureteric obstruction and renal function started to normalise within 72 h.
