Abstrakt: The aberrant internal carotid artery (ICA) is a rare congenital vascular anomaly. Misdiagnosed may result in life threatening complications during middle ear surgery. Authors present a case of a 6-year old boy in whom ventilation tube insertion was complicated by ICA pseudo-aneurysm formation. Symptoms, diagnosis and management of ICA pseudo-aneurysm are discussed.
