Abstrakt: The immune status of 110 children, aged 6 months to 14 years, suffering from atopic dermatitis, was under study. The efficacy of sodium nucleinate included in combined therapy of these patients and its immunomodulating characteristics were examined in the children of various age groups. T- and B-cellular immunity components were found changed in all the patients, the most marked being shifts in the counts of B- and 0-lymphocytes, the ophyllin-resistant and autologous T-lymphocytes. Addition of sodium nucleinate to combined therapy improved the efficacy of treatment: the skin process activity was reduced, the periods of hospitalization shortened, and length of remissions prolonged.
