Abstrakt: We report two cases of anesthesia for radical retropubic prostatectomy (RRP) in obese-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients using the combination of epidural anesthesia and non-invasive ventilation (NIV). This technique avoided intubation, general anesthesia and perioperative pulmonary complications.
