Abstrakt: Intra-articular corticosteroid injection and radiation of the wrist was performed in a patient on immunosuppressive therapy. She sustained empyema and impending compartment syndrome. After fasciotomy, debridement and antibiotic therapy had been performed, we provided soft tissue coverage by a combined ALTP and muscular free flap on the vascular trunk of the descending branch of the lateral circumflex femoral artery. There were no complications and the patient is very satisfied with the outcome.
