Abstrakt: In this review, we describe the pertinent issues that reconstructive surgeons face when treating patients with cancer. These issues include the various cancer management options and their influence on total joint arthroplasty outcomes, as well as prosthesis types and fixation types. We also present a strategy for reducing morbidity and complications during the perioperative period.
