Abstrakt: | Shaped and dimpled: Silver nanocrystals enclosed by concave surfaces and thus high-index facets have been prepared by simply controlling the growth habit of Ag cubic seeds. Four types of concave nanocrystals, including octahedron, cube, octapod, and trisoctahedron, were obtained (see picture). (Copyright © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.) |
