Uroflowmetry revealed impaired urodynamics of the lower urinary tract in 116 out of 147 patients with nocturnal enuresis; 99 cases displayed high values of maximal volumetric urination rates; the curve of an uroflowgram had a configuration characteristic of the disease 60 patients showed electroencephalographic characteristics of brain function. After reflex therapy, an electroencephalogram (EEG) became normal in 31 patients, it tended to normalize in 8. Reflex therapy exerted a steady-state effect in the patients who had not shown EEG abnormalities before the therapy and in those whose EEG parameters became normal after the therapy. |
