Abstrakt: We describe a 69-year-old man who came to our observation with a history of persistent left flank abdominal pain, fever for several weeks, and a previous history of passing renal stones. Radiological examinations with computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a solid mass within the left side of a horseshoe kidney, with associated large renal stones. The patient subsequently underwent partial left nephrectomy. The final diagnosis was consistent with squamous cell carcinoma arising in a horseshoe kidney, with associated renal stones.
