Abstrakt: Data of 14 patients with chronic cystic pancreatitis, complicated by intracystic bleeding, were analyzed. Early diagnosis of a bleeding episode provides an in-time diagnostic and treatment procedures. Angiographic bleeding vessel occlusion is considered to be a method of choice. When the latter is impossible, a method of temporary intraoperative hemostasis is suggested, which decreases blood loss and permits an adequate surgical aid.
