Abstrakt: Posterior sternoclavicular joint dislocations (PSCJDs) are extremely rare, emergent injuries. We present an unprecedented case of a 16-year-old boy without any initial history or signs of trauma who died of a brachiocephalic vein laceration secondary to an occult PSCJD. The pathophysiology, treatment, and diagnosis of PSCJD are discussed.
