| Abstrakt: | Devices with radially varying transmission characteristics, based upon control of the polarization of monochromatic light passing through them, have been designed, constructed, and experimentally evaluated. The significance of such devices to beam shaping in large beam diameter, high-energy laser systems is mentioned. |
