Abstrakt: Patients with the worse clinical picture of ischemic heart disease were found to have a significantly high concentration of endothelin-1 (p < 0.05) both within 24 hours of observation and within 4 months after. The baseline level of C-reactive protein was significantly high (p < 0.05) throughout the study. The plasma level of the protein associated with pregnancy (p < 0.05) and homocysteine (p < 0.01) were significantly reduced.
