Abstrakt: The study was designed to elucidate the relationship between severity of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with stable angina and the degree of spatial inhomogeneity of repolarization processes. A total of 104 patients aged 51.1 +/- 8.1 years with FC II-IV angina were examined using a treadmill test, selective coronarography, and Doppler echocardiography. Spatial inhomogeneity of repolarization processes was estimated from the difference between maximum and minimum QT and QTa intervals (dispersion), recorded synchronously in 12 leads at rest and at a maximum load. Factor analysis of spatial dQT at the maximum treadmill exercise showed that patients with CHD had hemodynamically significant coronary atherosclerosis associated with elevated level of myocardial repolarization inhomogeneity affected by such factors as arterial hypertension, left ventricular hypertrophy, age and functional state of the patients.
