[Psychophysiological characteristics of patients with arterial hypertension under different social conditions].

Abstrakt: The aim of the study was to compare psycho-physiological personality characteristics of patients with newly diagnosed arterial hypertension serving sentence in corrective-labour institutions and treated in a city hospital. In the first group, 36 men of the 612 had grade 1 or 2 essential arterial hypertension. Analysis of psycho-physiological characteristics showed that emotive behaviour and anxiety are the major personality traits hampering compensation of intrapsychic conflict of the psychosomatic type and promote neurotization and depression in subjects with arterial hypertension serving sentence in corrective-labour institutions.
