| Abstrakt: | Choice of therapy for inoperable lung cancer is determined by extension of local involvement, concomitant pathology and frequent complications. It is shown that such specific and effective means as irradiation of the whole mediastinum can abort constriction of the superior vena cava quickly and reliably. In case of recurrence, a second radiotherapy may be indicated; the same may be done with such complications as pleuritis and tumor decay. |
