Abstrakt: Even as current trends move away from retrobulbar block and topical anesthesia gains greater widespread acceptance, ocular anesthesia is most commonly administered with a needle. Although rare, complications have been described, ranging from innocuous hemorrhage to life-threatening systemic situations.
