Abstrakt: The paper provides the results of a clinical observation of 20 potential kidney donors having various agonal periods. Significant changes in beta 2-microglobulin levels in blood and urine depending on the agonal duration were established. The nature of the changes in biological fluids suggest their significance in early diagnosis of renal ischemic lesions during the agonal period, as well as in the prognostic assessment of organ viability and functional adequacy.
