| Abstrakt: | A 73-year-old woman had dyspnea associated with gradually increasing pulmonary collapse. Despite intensive investigation, the diagnosis was only reached at autopsy 18 months later, when histologic examination of the lungs showed changes of both fibrosing alveolitis and alveolar cell carcinoma. |
