Abstrakt: A 7-month-old infant was examined for severe right ptosis, strabismus, and noisy breathing. CT revealed a right intranasal mass with areas of calcification, erosion, and extension to the cribriform plate. Surgical resection was performed. Pathologic examination confirmed the diagnosis of nasal chondromesenchymal hamartoma. Ophthalmologists may be among the first medical practitioners to encounter nasal chondromesenchymal hamartoma, a rare, benign neoplasm of the nasal and paranasal sinuses.
