Abstrakt: Active as well as passive Wistar rats were subjected to a single water-immersion action that gave rise signs of poststressor depression in them. Administration of CRH-R1-receptor peptide blocker astressin prevented development of behavioural deficiency in active rats and did not affect behaviour of passive rats. This suggests that the corticoliberin receptor blockers are only effective for treatment of poststressor depressions in individuals with initially behavioural strategy.
