Abstrakt: The investigations have established that all the species of Mycobacterium tuberculosis formed in the course of evolution are the derivatives of a single causative agent with inherent properties of vital activity in human beings, various species of animals and poultry, which makes it possible to adapt them in the untypical host and to cause tuberculosis. The findings indicate that the etiological role of M. bovis and M. avium in human tuberculosis is significant, especially in children as the main consumers of dairy products and eggs from tuberculosis-infected animals and poultry. All the species of Mycobacterium tuberculosis are dangerous to the hosts uncharacteristic of them.
