Abstrakt: Primary progressive aphasia (PPA) is a distinct clinical entity in which the patient develops language deficits while other cognitive domains remain relatively preserved until late in the course of the illness. The diagnosis can be relatively clear through an appropriate diagnostic approach based on the history and physical examination. There is no cure, but speech therapy is beneficial in this illness.
