Abstrakt: Diagnosis of acute appendicitis is considered more difficult in pregnant than in non-pregnant women. The appendicial carcinoid tumor is a lesion that most frequently is discovered incidentally in the removed organ. We report a rare case of an unruptured acute appendicitis during pregnancy, which proved to be a large carcinoid tumor.
