A three-level model related with the obstetrics service, which secured a stable reduction of the maternal, newborns' and perinatal lethality rate in the city of Krasnodar, is analyzed. Thus, a trend towards a higher birth rate and natural growth of population took shape from 1995; the maternity lethality rate, in the city of Krasnodar, dropped, per 100,000 of live-borns, from 35.9@100000 in 1995 to 21.8@100000 in 2001, the perinatal mortality rate dropped from 22.8@1000 (1995) to 10.1@1000 (2001), and the newborns' mortality rate dropped from 26.8@1000 (1995) to 12.9@1000, respectively. |
