The calculation data are presented on a critical temperature area (45-60 deg. C) located in the wall of the gastrointestinal tract, following exposure to continuous laser radiation (1.06(m). Positive clinical results were reported on the use of the fiber-type modification of the continuous 250W YAG:ND laser in the treatment of 217 patients with benign, malignant tumors and cicatricial strictures in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract, trachea or bronchus. |
