The current opinion that oncological patients subjected to radical treatment are not allowed to be directed to sanatoriums and resorts should be revised. It is necessary to plan joint investigations of oncologists and specialists or resort cure to determine exactly indications and contraindications to subsequent cure of such patients under sanatorium conditions in early terms after cessation of radical therapy. Patients, previously treated for malignant tumors and showing no signs of recurrence or metastases, may be directed to appropriate sanatoriums for treatment of concomitant lesions, but without applying mudtherapy, ultraviolet irradiation and general heat procedures. |
