One of the most wide-spread virus infections causing various diseases of dermal integuments, central and peripheric nervous system, viscera, eye, oral cavity and genitalia is Herpes simplex (HS). The clinical case of a 10-year child who had at early age HS infection complicated by extensive cicatrical deformation of frontal-temporoparietal skin is reported. The cicatrical deformation has caused disfunction of periorbital tissues. Principles of treatment are considered and practical references are given. |
