Electron-microscopy studies of the epithelium of the large intestine mucosa in patients with nonspecific ulcerative colitis (biopsy material) and that of rats with experimental allergic ulcerative colitis revealed the penetration of microorganisms into goblet cells of the experimental animals at various stages of mucigenoformation. The bioptic material showed no such pictures. It appears that factor of immunization played a certain role in the realization of the influence of microorganisms on pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis. The structural feature of the development of glycocalix are described on the basis of clinical and experimental material. |
