Abstrakt: A retrospective review of cases at a level I pediatric trauma center from 1995 through 1999 was conducted to identify cases of suspected shaken baby syndrome. Cases were included if the primary diagnosis was associated with shaken baby syndrome, such as retinal hemorrhage or subdural hematoma. The daily temperature and month of admission were evaluated to identify possible seasonal variations in the incidence of suspected cases.
