Abstrakt: | Introduction: Intestinal obstruction very often results in a patient's death. The reasons of high mortality are: 1) surgeons don't follow "golden rule", which presumes performing of operations within 2 hours after diagnosis is determined, 2) delayed management, 3) the absence of reliable criteria, that can prove the definitive diagnosis, 4) difficulties in diagnosis. Methods: The are basic rules of the modern doctrine of surgical treatment. 1. The early diagnosis. 2. The adequate preoperative preparation. 3. The early operative intervention. 4. Individual approach to the appropriate operative management and type of operation. 5. Active tactics in postoperative management. A large bowel obstraction is an emergency condition that normally requires early identification and surgical intervention. Conclusion: Ways of improving the results of management large bowel obstruction secondary to neoplasm are the following: 1) improving preparation of the intestine to the operation, 2) rational antibacterial therapy, 3) expansion of indications to the surgical treatment of tumors irrespective of the stage of disease. Methods of extra and intracorporal detoxication are usually used for treatment of endotoxicosis. Active treatment and diagnostic tactics in coordination with the described program provides a possibility of improving the results of treatment in this category of patients. |
