Abstrakt: Posterior shoulder instability is associated with capsular laxity and well-defined pathologic lesions of the gleno-labral concavity. Most arthroscopic techniques have concentrated on capsular shift or plication of capsular laxity. This article demonstrates that arthroscopic capsulolabral plication simultaneously can augment the glenolabral concavity to restore the glenoid depth, and can reduce excessive capsular laxity of the redundant posteroinferior capsule. This method has proven effective in treating posterior instability.
