The content of 137Cs in the whole human body and certain internal organs has been determined using gamma-spectrometry method for inhabitants of Vitebsk Region. The average activity of 137Cs in the whole human body was obtained to be 0.038 mkCu. The unevenness of radiocesium accumulation in the investigated internal organs has been noted. The average annual doses from 137Cs for some human organs have been calculated. |
