Abstrakt: Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an uncommon cause of community acquired pneumonia in immunocompetent hosts. We report two cases that did well once appropriate and prolonged antimicrobial therapy was initiated. They had no evidence of immune deficiency. The initial consideration was pulmonary tuberculosis in both cases given the subacute presentation, significant weight loss, and findings on chest roentgenogram.
