Abstrakt: | Abstract: We have examined changes of lupin root proteins during the establishment of lupin-Rhizobium symbiosis using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis with the addition of SDS (SDS-PAGE). The examination has been carried out for 24 days after Rhizobium inoculation. We obtained 15 protein fractions ranged from 14 000 to 96 000 but 2 out of those of 89 000 and 42 000 appeared on 6th and 9th days of the investigated period of time, respectively. In the infected roots both fractions could be detected 3 days later. At early stages of symbiosis ddevelopment quantitative differences of some protein components between inoculated and uninoculated roots could be observed, although they equalized on 12th and 15th days after inoculation. There were not observed new protein components under the influence of inoculation or molecular mass changes in particular fractions during root development. Proteins to be compared from pure suspension culture of Rhizobium were separated by SDS-PAGE. The separation obtained did not show a real influence of bacterial components on the protein composition. |
