Abstract: Since the 1990s, the Pravčická Arch (Bohemian Switzerland in the Czech Republic) a protected rock formation and the largest sandstone arch in Europe, has been monitored by experts. Long-term monitoring of hazardous movements is carried out on it using manual and automatic systems. In 2020, comprehensive non-destructive research of the arch was started with focus on its stability, including detailed geological documentation, study of salt weathering, temperature deformation and monitoring of negative changes using a set of geophysical methods. |
